Your tasks and responsibilities:
As Supply Planner you have the challenging task to manage local seeds inventory in a very dynamic and changing environment. You are responsible for seed availability and inventory management for the crop lettuce. It is your mission to ensure timely delivery to customers and warehouses while optimizing costs and making efficient use of inventory.
You will closely work together with your Supply Planning team, which consists of 6 additional Supply Planners and 1 Supply Planner Replenishment. You will report directly to the Manager Supply Planning. Besides, you will have frequent contact with colleagues from Order Management, Scheduling, Seed Supply, Quality Assurance, Demand Planning and Sales.
In this challenging role, as a Supply Planner, you will also focus on:
Creating an overview of the regional (sometimes global) seeds availability by analyzing inventory data, sales forecasts, and incoming production.
Initiate and follow up processing of inventory to ensure timely seed availability
Manage inventory by initiating quality processing and proposing disposals.
Priority planning and management.
Communicate and discuss regional (sometimes global) availability with all stakeholders.
Take care of administrative tasks and follow up on reports.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agronomy or related field.
Three to five years’ experience in Logistics/Supply Chain.
In depth crop related knowledge (would be a plus)
Advance experience in ERP systems (Infor M3 would be preferred).
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Team player
